Has anyone reduced their circles by gaining or losing weight? I see pictures of myself at my skinniest and the circles are horrible! Maybe it was a nutritional issue, but I'm wondering if anyone has found and "optimal weight" for circle reduction.

Were you using safe weight loss methods?  Did you get enough nutritious foods or did you "starve" yourself?  The reason I ask is that if you didn't get enough nutrients, it's possible this would be the cause of your dark circles....

I agree with anamarie.  If you were undernourished, that could cause a pretty bad case of dark undereye circles.

When I was in college and underweight, I had the worst circles of my life.  I used to go through about a stick of concealer a month.  Unfortunately, I've gained a ton of weight now.  My circles aren't as dark, but I've definitely gained chronic puffiness and bagginess underneath my eyes.

I don't know I am heavier then I ever have been and my dark circles are still there. I don't think it really matters.

I noticed then when I am stressed by trying to stay on a diet the my circles are darker. But I think that is stress related not diet related.

I'm fat and I still have my dark circles as well. I think they are related to not getting enough sleep (it stinks to be a night person with a day job) and to stress as well as to my weight. Or maybe the stress is responsible for all three symptoms (sleeplessness, weight, and dark circles). Who knows?

If the sodium content of the diet has also gone down, that can cause a reduction in extracellular fluid volume also leading to the dark eye effect. So make sure that you are having a healthy diet with lots of Vitamins,Proteins etc...

I agree stress seems to cause dark circles or makes the ones you have seem worse. But I have a hard time not getting stressed.

I will say that about the loss of weight  if you want to loss the weight the do not
  sleep atleast two hour early to diner .
