So what do you feel the best eye cream that you have ever used is?

I cannot remember the name but there was a product that I loved. You would put the cream on and your eyes would instantly be soothed. I love that feeling!

Well, I'm a student on a budget and I don't use high end/dept store brands...but my one must have item
is St Ives Cucumber Elastin Eye and Face stress Gel, I keep it in the fridge and put it on my eyes whenever I
need soothing...it's heaven to use on tired eyes + it soothes and de-puffs. It's also multi-purpose and I can use
it on my cheeks and around the mouth when they're feeling dry and tight.
For my normal day eye cream I use an eye cream with SPF (Nivea) and at night I use The Body Shop's
Vitamin C Eye Reviver (I love this one!).

I am 50 years old and I have been plagued with very dark circles all of my life. I tried the iQ RestorEyes, but did not see any improvement at all. The VERY best cream I have ever used in my life --- and I have probably tried most, both high end and low end, is a prescription estrogen cream 0.5% compounded by my pharmacist. It is a miracle. It has helped tremendously --- like turning back the clock.

The cream is actually more for wrinkles, but I have found that it helps with puffiness and dark circles, too. It is called Estriol Wrinkle Cream 0.3 % (I made a mistake in my last post -- not 5% but 3%). It is for mature women, women who are peri-menopausal, menopausal or post menopausal. But it does require a prescription from a medical doctor and it must be custom made by a compoinding pharmacist. It is actually less expensive than a lot of the other creams out there. It is about $47 for 25 gm. You can use it on your entire face and neck.

Dear AdminDC, check out the information at: http://www.collegepharmacy.com/specializations/treatment.asp
Treatment of Skin Aging with Topical Estrogens.
I had another site with great information bookmarked, but I can't seem to find it. I'll post it if I come across it.
The only problem with Estriol Wrinkle Cream 0.3% is -- you cannot buy this on any internet site. It must be prescribed by a physician and created by a compounding pharmacist. I don't know how old you are, but certainly if you are in your late 30s, 40s or 50s, you may be in one of the stages of menopause -- peri (the period of time, which can be many years, leading up to menopause); menopause (the period of time beginning when your periods cease for 6 months ) and post-menopause (the period of time past menopause). If you qualify, just by being in any of the abovementioned groups, I don't see why your physician would refuse to write the script. Are there any compounding pharmacists near you? You might start there. They are always happy to answer questions. My compounding pharmacist is Yakim's: http://yakims.com/
If you don't know of any compounding pharmacists in your area, write to them or send them an e-mail and ask for a referrel.
I'm telling you, it's worth it. I have used products by Perricone, Chanel, Isomers, Lancome, Estee Lauder, you name it... This prescritpion works the best!

There are no known side effects, but you are probably too young for a physician to prescribe it.  Estriol is absorbed through the skin but has no impact on systemic hormone levels.  You could go to Yakim's web page and contact them through it and ask for a referral in your area and then ask your compounding pharmacist what he thinks!
I have heard that a "toxic liver" also contributes to dark circles, and while I am going to check into it, I don't give it as much weight in the overall discussion because I have had dark circles since I was a young child -- and I don't think I had a toxic liver then!
You sound just like me --- that you say you are in your mid-twenties --- and searching for a cure for your dark circles.  This has been a life-long desire of mine, too -- to get rid of them.  I just read somewhere that there is a new laser treatement that gets rid of the small capillaries that break just beneath the eye -- supposedly causing the dark circles.  I'll post anything I find.  Please do try the Cle de Peau Beaute concealer. (I use the beige)  It is amazing.  If you get it, let me know what you think.

I had dark circles since I was child actually.. I wassuspecting that I got it because I don't eat vegetables and fruits often..andhad constipation problem as well.. Razz I only start eating them in mid teens.. wonderif my body was too toxic by then..

Thanks for recommending Cle de PeauBeaute concealer, definitely will try it soon. Currently I’m using YSL ToucheEclat Radiant Touch Highlighter.. Although it doesn’t make my dark circles disappeared,at least my dark circles look less visible but still with bit ashy look.
