What are the risk and complications that one should expect while undergoing a surgery to remove dark circles? In general how far they are all safe?

Is there a surgury to remove them? I just ask because I have never heard of it or know anyone that has had it done. Curious to know what it is they do if their is a surgury?

I'm not sure if there is a surgery to remove them, but if there is I'm guessing that there is a general risk for some damage to the eye area, most likely to things like nerves.  That's just my guess, though.

The skin in the under eye areas is the thinnest in the human body.
Thus, a major disturbance of things in these areas, like surgery,
carries a significant amount of risk.

I don't think that there are any surgical treatments for Dark Circles.
Even if there are, most doctors in the United States don't publicly
advertise those treatments.  Any potential complications, and liability
costs, for such risky surgery outweight any benefits.  Most doctors
won't perform anything unless there is a good chance that they will
make a lot of $$$ from doing that procedure.

Potential complications can be:  scarring, infection, loss of vision,
blindness, even WORSE looking Dark Circles, etc.

To make a long story short, the risks are just too great, for both the
patient and the doctor, to justify Dark Circle surgery.  At least right now.

Someday, this type of surgery might be safe and cheap.  About 30 years
ago, LASIK eye surgery was in the same category.  Now, LASIK is safe
and widely performed.  However, LASIK still isn't perfect.  In the
United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently checked
into the problems with LASIK surgery.

If your darkness is caused by pigmentation, like mine was, co2 laser treatment is very effective. Doctors commonly misdiagnose pigmentation for broken blood vessels so always get more than one opinion. I also had radiesse injections under the eye muscle. The laser and injection cost me $3800. The scabs were gone in 8 days.

Hello...there are many options before thinking about surgery...have you done a lifestyle check? are you eating the right food? there are many factors to consider...Have you tried great products that works, really works, like what i have done.... ? I use Lifecell Skin cream and BASQNYC Cucumber tea eye gel...these 2 products are my "miracle workers" and im happy i tried and im using them...check them out at eyecreamreviews.com for more infos..

Here's some help for you:
1. cold teabag = gently apply around the eyes (careful that it wont get into the eyes) then leave on for a 10mins then rinse off with lukewarm water..The "tannin" in the tea is a great exfoliant to skin...works great..
2. Milk + honey = use cold milk, do the same procedure as the teabag...works well too..

DARK CIRCLES DIET:
A healthy diet for dark circles which is full of nutrients is the most essential thing in this case. If the body does not receive its daily intake of nutrients, it may create such problems and maybe worse in the future.
Some of the essential nutrients can be found in:
1) Fresh Fruits and vegetables
2) Green leafy vegetables
3) Cereal crops such as oats, barley, wheat and millets.
4) Fresh juices of fruits and vegetables.
A breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should be consumed before starting any kind of work.

Other Dark Circles Skin Care Treatments
1) Washing your face with water and a soft soap every hour is very important. It is very important that your skin stays fresh and cool all the time and free from any germs or bacteria.
2) Daily eight hours of sleep is very essential for the body and the eyes. It is very important that you sleep without being disturbed at all. This is not only good for the eyes but also for the body as you will not have any health problems in the future.
3) "Work less and relax more" should be your main motto if you wish to get rid of the dark circles as soon as possible. Stress and fatigue are two toxic enemies of a dark circle-free skin.
4) Exercising is also very important and should be added to your daily regime. If you remain healthy at all times, you will not encounter any health problems.
