| I haven't heard of this. Is it an injection, cream, or something else? I'd be interested to learn more, especially if it's not very invasive. |

What's really bad is when they are so dark you don't look twice your age but you look like the walking dead. That would be me. I look like I've either got two black eyes or I have something seriously wrong with me (I've seen it in a mirror at the end of the night). I could upload a pic if ya'll really wanted to see the walking dead...LOL

| Restalyne works in that it fills in hollow eyes. If you simply have discoloration, it wont do much. If you have under eye hollows, it works by replacing lost fat, which causes shadowing. A good PS consult will be able to tell if you need it. And restylyne is pretty safe and the body absorbs it in 3-6 months. |

| I want to share my experiences in injecting Restylene 3 months ago with my local PS (plastic surgeon). Restylene causes my undereyes to end up with big bulgy eyebags as it plumps up the undereye area. Not only it does not solve my dark eye circles problems, it worsens it. I suspect that the inject damages my veins as my dark circles appear to be even more bluish than before. It only works if you have hollows under your eyes. Otherwise, please don't do it as not only will it cause uneven bulges , and it will not cure your dark circles. My PS is one of the best in town but it don't help. And not to mention, I regretted ever tried it. Just my 2 cents worth. |

thanks for sharing, yeah, the main issue I have is losss of fat under eyes, they look very sunken in, and I'm only 21, so its a huge confidence issue, my eyes look fine when I tilt my head back, but when I look straight in the mirror, very dark and scary. I'm already using a thick layer of supposedly the best concealer, but its not doing much, I'm really paranoid about it and avoid eye contact at all costs because I feel like people are staring at the circles, and not my eyes..
Bleah, I hate this, I'm so jelous of people who have good complexion, acne doesent help either.
Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it?
I bought a magazine few weeks ago and there was a picture of before and after, theres like 2 procedures, injectable eye fillers, fat grafting and removing excess fat/tigtening, but thats for older, sagging skin I assume, but one the one picture the woman looked about 26-30, I'm going to scan it and post here later. |

Not because it's funny, it is not even a tiny bit of funny, but because it is so tragic and because I feel exactly the same way as you!
What else can we do but laugh?
I hope we find some way to help us feel normal soon!! |

| The development of dark circles under one’s eyes makes you looktired. Some people develop dark circles with aging, while others havehad them from when they were young. Dark circles occur just asfrequently in Caucasians as they do in more darkly pigmented people.Dark circles, contrary to popular thought, is not due to being tired, stressed, or worn out. (no matter how you feel!) Dark circles developdue to staining of the thin eyelid skin from pigments that have leakedout from your blood cells. The blood cell pigment, known as hemoglobin, oxidizes when it gets close to the skin’s surface due to light exposureand turns a bluish red color. (the hemoglobin turns to hemosiderin, aniron-based pigment) This discoloration subsequently looks like a bruiseand is easily seen since the lower eyelid skin is very thin and almosttransparent. Once the dark circles appear from the pigment deposits, they may likely be permanent. mcdba dumps What can one do for dark circles? First and foremost, eyelid surgerywill not get rid of dark circles. Lower blepharoplasty, which removesexcess lower eyelid skin and fat, does not directly target thepigment-staining problem. In the short-term, it may actually make itlook worse due to the bruising from surgery and has the potential toplace more blood products near the skin to be broken down. In somecases, there is some improvement in the appearance of the dark circlesas the lower eyelid is tightened and there is less of an undereyehollow for shadowing to appear in. But one should never undergo lowerblpeharoplasty if your main objective is to get rid of the darlcircles. Any improvement in the dark circles should be considered abonus but not the main objective of the surgery. Secondly, peeling, burning, or exfoliation of the lower eyelid skindoes not usually work well either. Whether it is done by a chemicalpeel or laser resurfacing, mcsa dumps the removal of the outer layer of the lowereyelid skin does not reach the area where the pigment deposition lies.Resurfacing removes the outer epithelium of the skin but does not, orshould not, reach the deeper dermis or the underside of the skin. (ifit does, the lower eyelid will scar) While I don’t think there is muchharm to a lower eyelid peel, with a 25% or 35% TCA solution, it is notparticularly effective in most cases. And runs the risk of an additiveproblem known as hyperpigmentation which can contribute to the darknessof the lower eyelid skin. Potential leaching of the skin through hydroquinone topicalpreparations seems like a reasonably safe approach, mcse dumps although how itworks doesn’t necessarily specifically target the pigment issue.Hydroquinone works by suppressing the melanin or color production ofthe skin so it is easy to see how this may be effective forhyperpigmentation or age-related (sun exposure) brown spots. But thisbleaching chemical is not known to specifically break down and clearhemosiderin pigments stains. So bleaching the skin sounds like it wouldwork, but the chemistry behind it would suggest otherwise. |

| Restylane does not remove actual darkness of the skin but it does remove under eye depressions which can cause shadows. My surgery involved a co2 laser for the darkness and radiesse under the eye muscle for the shadows. Radiesse is the alternative to restylane. Having a good surgeon taking care of the injections is very important. |

You can check out my eye creams that i call "miracle workers", they are Lifecell Skin Cream and BASQNYC Cucumber Tea Eye Gel... so love it because they make the dark circles dissapear without the peeling ( i dont want people to see me peel like a tomato)...check them out at eyecreamreviews.com for more informations...
here's some helpful home tips too:
1. cold teabag = gently apply around the eyes (careful that it wont get into the eyes) then leave on for a 10mins then rinse off with lukewarm water..The "tannin" in the tea is a great exfoliant to skin...works great..
2. Milk + honey = use cold milk, do the same procedure as the teabag...works well too..
DARK CIRCLES DIET:
A healthy diet for dark circles which is full of nutrients is the most essential thing in this case. If the body does not receive its daily intake of nutrients, it may create such problems and maybe worse in the future.
Some of the essential nutrients can be found in:
1) Fresh Fruits and vegetables
2) Green leafy vegetables
3) Cereal crops such as oats, barley, wheat and millets.
4) Fresh juices of fruits and vegetables.
A breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should be consumed before starting any kind of work.
Other Dark Circles Skin Care Treatments
1) Washing your face with water and a soft soap every hour is very important. It is very important that your skin stays fresh and cool all the time and free from any germs or bacteria.
2) Daily eight hours of sleep is very essential for the body and the eyes. It is very important that you sleep without being disturbed at all. This is not only good for the eyes but also for the body as you will not have any health problems in the future.
3) "Work less and relax more" should be your main motto if you wish to get rid of the dark circles as soon as possible. Stress and fatigue are two toxic enemies of a dark circle-free skin.
4) Exercising is also very important and should be added to your daily regime. If you remain healthy at all times, you will not encounter any health problems. |
