I have been using the Oil of Olay mini-peel kits and found they worked well at reconditioning and retexturing my skin. However, I avoided the under-eye area, as the skin is so sensitive.

Any suggestions for diluting the treatment to make it dark circle safe?

Would a mini peel work for getting rid of some of the dark area under the eyes? I really didn't think of that one... does it help with acne as well? I have oily skin and I break out a little and I'm looking for a good treatment for my skin.

I found that it worked really well for acne. You know how you can feel the big pimples coming on? I would do a treatment just on that spot and massage it in gently for about a minute. It seems to dissolve the pimple before it "sprouts".

The skin under my eyes is not as refined in texture as the rest of my face. I would like to address that, but I am afraid to get chemicals too close to my eyes and to do much to the delicate skin tissue there.

Maybe you could check with oil of olay and see what they say about the under eye area. Maybe they have some tips.

Have you tried using milk or cream uncer and around the eye area?  the Lactic acid might bring similar results as a regular peel, but since it is milk, it might not be quite so harsh.  Using some fruits as under eye masques might help as well.

I, too, avoid peels around the eye areas. I'm afraid that they might damage the blood vessels and make the skin even more puffy and red/dark.

I have looked at the Oil of Olay products. But to be honest when I get in the store there are so many different things. I am never sure what to buy.

I would think that a peal would just add red and slight irritations to the already sensitive area.

I have never tried any kind of a peel. But I sure don't want any irratation under the eyes. My eyes look bad enough with the dark circles. I don't need anything else to add to it.
