I just got the most horrific hair cut! I asked for a chin length bob, long bangs, little maintenance. I got ear length, short bangs and weird hanging so that I have to curl it to make it lay flat.
The worst thing is, the stylist is a friend who has been telling me for years that she could cut better than my regular stylist, that my regular girl was butchering my hair. Now I have to go back to my regular stylist in shame and not go back to my friend without hurting her feelings.
Hair will grow back, right? RIGHT?! |

Oh my goodness, what a nightmare!
I've been trying to take hair supplements to get my hair to grow back.
Try anything with biotin, silica, vitamin D...
And get lots of sun! |

| My hair is like a chia pet: apply sun and water and watch it grow! I don't sweat a bad haircut because it grows back so fast. Some would say I'm lucky. The downside is that I have to get it trimmed constantly! |

I have a very angular face -- like a teenage boy. Plus, I don't wear much makeup. My haircut as done by my usual stylist softens my features and is very feminine.
I can't believe I let someone else touch my hair |

| MY hair is turning gray. And the more gray I get the harder it is to manage. It is hard getting old. |

Don't feel too bad technoflutemom. Everybody wants to experiment with their hair from time to time and try something new. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it doesn't. Your old stylist will understand. Heck, she'll probably get a kick out of it. As for your friend, just say that it felt kind of weird getting a haircut from smeone you know so well, and you don't like mixing business and pleasure.
And don't worry, it WILL grow back. Honest. |

| Is it true that any medication you are on will affect your hair? Because the doctor but me on thyroid pills and now my hair seems a lot harder to manage. |

| I feel for you. When I was 8 yrs old I had hair well past my bottom. For some reason I decided I wanted it cut. I told the chick that I wanted my hair to my shoulders. Well she chopped it to my chin. I became hestrical in the salon and cried for a week after that. But it did grow back. |

| I read somewhere, an ayurvedic remedy, is to rub ground pepper in your hair before you wash it to help it grow by increasing blood flow to the scalp. I haven't tried it, but it seems like it should work. |

| I wonder...would that burn at all? I imagine if you had tiny cuts on your scalp, it might hurt a bit. |

It seems like it would burn if you had cuts. I honestly haven't had pepper rubbed into a cut, does it burn? Maybe I should be a guinea pig and try it |

| I have never heard of the ground pepper making your hair grow faster. That is a new one for me. But yes I have had haircuts that I really didn't care for and I so hate when that happens. |
