Hello, new here, I am trying, still, to find something to help my dark circles. I've read a few posts, and mine are the type where people sometimes ask if i have a blck eye, it is the bluish/blackish color under my eyes, and seems a bit hollow, because in certain light it looks worse, more shadow, does this mean the color is caused by leaking veins as i have read on here? Also, can anyone with my type of dark circles tell me if ANYTHING they have tried has worked? Eye creams, hoe much it worked, heck, even if it was surgical, laser, etc, and if that worked! I'm in my mid- 20's, and have had them since i can remember, and really want to do something, i HATE my eyes!

What not to use before you start your adventure, to help you not make them worse!

I have the nasty ones too. I lived with a woman beater for a few years and have permanent black eyes from broken veins. I can feel your frustration. I want mine gone so I do not have to be reminded of the woman beater everytime i look in the mirror....
Anyway, do not fall for Eyederm, it made mine worse and it burns like hell. I think there needs to be an Eyederm support group, everyone i encounter on the Net when i am looking for help about my bandit look says the Eyederm is just horrible.

This is a little extreme but i went and got  a spray on tan for vacation and she did my face and looking at my pictures now they did look less noticeable.....I am going to try it again, so i can look in the mirror and not a picture....I think i put a post about it somewhere on here asking if anyone else tried it....

i just ordered the trial of Hydroderm, so do not know yet, i ordered Dermadoctor's Calm, Cool and Corrected for my rosacea which causes redness that goes under my eyes further adding to the nasty eye look, I am going to see if that really helps redness, i got a sample of EyeSpy, I will let you know how that goes, surgery is risky at this point because i do not think that the procedure (fat grafting) they do for under eye circles has been around that long, an eye lift without fat removal might make them a little better but not eliminate them and it might not help at all, it is a gamble and you are waaay to young for that anyway, too risky.
I know of many people that like Arbonne and it works for them, it did not help mine, but you can return it if you are not satisfied.
Are you taking medications?  BC pills will cause them. have all if your hormones checked, it is something everyone should have done anyway. Vitamins and minerals, protein...nutrition is important. Alcohol makes mine worse, anything that makes veins purple makes my eyes purple because i have broken caps under my eyes. caffeine, spicy food...just a thought. Too much or too little sleep, i am sure you know the causes. I have tried everything at Walmart. If your local plastic sugeon, dermatologist or skin clinic offers free consults it is worth talking to them, even better if you can afford it....they can try rebuilding the collagen, using different techniques, under your eye so as to thicken it therefore the veins underneath are less visible.
Hopefully in a few years there will be a better treatment. It is amazing that with all the crazy procedures out there that there is nothing for dark circles, they just make a person look tired and crabby.... I am honestly saving money for the day a treatment is available.
I have often wondered if they cannot laser mine because they are veins and they can laser the ones on the leg, but i think it is too dangerous cause it is so close to the eyes...i don't know? Mine will actually burn and my eyes run.
Drinking lots of water does help a little and cutting out the artificial sweeteners, and excess sugar, exercising does help because it keeps things circulating and may prevent the pooling in the capillaries. I looked better before I got lazy and started sitting around more. Do not lose weight too fast, I did that and that made me look awful. I thought i looked like crap with the baby fat i had but then lost weight too fast and look worse with the raccoon eyes.

I try to keep in mind that when I look around almost everyone has them, even my 9 year old girl...thanks to me....maybe not to the extent we do but they have them. If you look at the people on TV even the best make up cannot hide them. They are a huge nuisance to have. DermaciaMD is a good foundation for me, that hides them better than the other foundations out there I have to buy it dark though so it looks silly having a white neck and brown face....that is where the self-tan comes in, and it shows how desperately I want them gone...lol.
Anyway I started ranting instead of just a short post about Eye Derma.
If you find something that works let me know. I will keep ya'll informed about the Eye Spy, though I guess it has probably already been tried....

bobbi507: just a reminder, when you order Hydroderm, you will be enrolled in auto ship membership, if Hydroderm didn't work out for you, you will need to cancel the membership before the due date or else you will be billed.

Thanks! Will you PLEASE let me know if anything works, i will do the same! If that rocasea stuff works, let me know, i have a friend with it, and i might have a minor case of it.
Nope, not on birth control, i know how bad it is for you, messed me up anyways, not permanently, just while taking it. Hmmm, i just hate it, i want them gone! I've tried so mch stuff, and am hesitant to drop that much money on anything else unless it works, i'm a broke student, you know!
I'm sorry about the abusive hubby, i'm glad you are away from that though, i had an aunt that went through that, is sooo much happier now! Please let me know about the new stuff you are trying! Thanks sooo much for YOUR rant, it was HELPFUL to me! LOL!
