The instructions that come with both NULEXIN, and HYLEXIN, explain
that there are two types of Dark Circles:

1) Normal ones.   Caused by:  stress, lack of sleep, fatigue, hangovers, etc.

2) Serious ones.   Caused by: broken, leaking blood vessels and red blood.

I have serious dark circles and I hate them.  I look like Dr. Frankenstein's
monster Adam.  Here is a picture of Adam, complete with Dark Circles:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenstein_in_popular_culture

I tried using NULEXIN for 2 months.  My serious dark circles were reduced
somewhat, but not totally.  See the Eye Creams Products Reviews forum.

After a lot of experimentation, I have found that the following tools
really work at eliminating my serious dark circles:

Green LASER pointer  ($50)

The 532 nm Wavelength heats the red blood cells, which in turn
destroy the blood vessels, and repair the same blood vessels.

Red LASER pointer      ($13)

The 633 nm Wavelength is the best for healing the skin.  This is
also called Low-Level Laser Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy, or
LASER Biostimulation.  The mitochondria, which are cellular
biochemical engines, are energized into action.

NULEXIN cream          ($30)

As advertised on the package, this works to repair the blood vessels.
However, the results are better when the cream is combined with
other therapies.  Any other good cream could probably be substituted
for this.

Petroleum Jelly           ($4)

Moisturizes the skin and helps retains moisture too.  This stimulates
the skin into becoming thicker, which will cover Dark Circles.

LED flashlight              ($10)

Energizes the skin cells and improves their activity.

Magnets                       ($5)

The magnetic field helps improve the blood flow through the
capillaries.  Pools of red blood are dispersed and no longer visible.

I purchased all of  these tools for the United States Dollar (USD) amounts
that are listed.  With the value of the USD so low against other currencies,
you might be able to find these tools at even better prices in other countries.
If you want more information on how these tools work, and/or help with
healing the skin, you can do a Google search on the subjects.  There is just
too much information to list in this blog post.

I make use of these tools whenever I can.   Every little bit of their healing
power helps.  Healing the skin is a "gradual" process that takes time.

Each use of these tools makes my serious dark circles look better and even
go away.  Then the serious dark circles return.  Hopefully, a little bit of
the skin was healed.  Bit-by-Bit, the skin cells appear to get healed.

My serious dark circles are slowly, but surely, going away.   It will probably
take some time for them to totally go away.  Like other people who suffer
from unsightly Dark Circles, I just can't wait for mine to totally go away.

The alternative is to go an expensive doctor, and/or laser clinic, who can offer
you pretty much the same, but faster, treatments for A LOT more money.
You decide what is the best deal for your financial situation.

My experience with doctors is that they "don't know what to do" about the
problems that are causing Dark Circles.  If they claim that they "don't know
what to do", then I think that that is a RED flag that the doctor can't be
trusted.  Time to find a new doctor.   In the future, doctors might make new
discoveries about treating Dark Circles.  LASER technologies are always
being improved.

Please let the rest of the group know if these tools help your Dark Circles
become lighter and/or go away.

Thanks!

Dr. Frankenstein, if you were to choose/recommend one of the above tools/eye creams, which do you think you would choose? :p

From my list of tools, I have found the Red LASER Pointer to be the best.

Ask any LASER therapist, doctor, or someone who has been treated with
the Red LASER Light and they can explain how the 633 nm Wavelength
RED light is the "best" for healing the skin.  RED light safely penetrates
the skin to a level where healing, and no damage to the skin itself, occurs.

The Red LASER Pointer is a cheap tool and the skin will only be healed.
That is what I like best about this tool.  I've had a number of topical
treatments that "burned" my skin and made my serious Dark Circles look
worse.  Ouch!  I'm always very cautious about topical treatments now.

RED Light is the "best" at healing the skin of all those things that we encounter
during the day which might make our Dark Circles worse.  For example, the
computer display that I'm looking at while I write this blog reply message is
probably making my serious Dark Circles worse.  Time to treat them with some
more RED Light.

Dr. Frankenstein, are you referring to Red LASER pointer  like this one http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/lights/74f0/ ?
I thought we just use this tool for fun, how do you actually use it for dark circles?

Yes, a RED Laser pointer just like the one that a lecturer uses.
A useful healing tool as well as a fun learning toy.

Just shine the RED Laser beam on your Dark Circles.  Wavelength = 633 nm.
The best Wavelength for healing the skin.

ALL light, whether from the sun, a light bulb, or a Laser beam, is exactly the same.
If you want to learn more about the physics of light, you can do a Google search
on the subject.

LASER is an acronym for:  Light Amplification (by) Stimulated Emission (of) Radiation.
The light from a Laser beam is just light that has been made more "intense".
The RED light is from the longer Wavelength end of the light spectrum.  This is the light
that is emitted from:  a Laser pointer, a Laser therapy machine, Laser weapons, etc.

If you ask a doctor, they will probably tell you I'm wrong.  Not at all.  I would just show
them the "technical specifications" of both their Professional RED LASER equipment and the
RED Laser pointer.  The same "technical specifications" on both.

I'm so sorry doctor.  I can give myself LASER treatments and save my hard-earned money.

1)  In the morning I take a shower.  Thoroughly wash the orbital eye areas.

2)  Apply the NULEXIN cream on the orbital eye areas.  The dried cream is hardly noticeable.
I think that this cream helps my skin.   Or at least it seems to.  After 3 months of use,
my Dark Circles are about 60% gone and much lighter too.

***  Instead of NULEXIN, you could probably use any other ***
***   creams that might be good for treating Dark Circles.       ***

3)  Shine the GREEN Laser pointer beam on my serious Dark Circles for about 1 to 5 minutes.
Depends on how much time is available.  This helps the skin repair it's own blood vessels.

4)  Shine the RED Laser pointer beam on my serious Dark Circles for about 1 to 5 minutes.
Depends on how much time is available.  This helps the skin heal.

5)  As time permits during the day, I apply the RED Laser pointer beam, LED flashlight beam,
and Magnets, on my serious Dark Circles.  All these things help with the skin's healing and
      blood circulation too.

6)  In the evenings, before I go to bed, I apply Petroleum Jelly over the orbital eye areas.  This
helps moisturize the skin and make it grow thicker.  My hope is that the thicker skin will help
cover up my serious Dark Circles.

7)  Patience is a "virtue".  Consistency of treatments is important.  With enough time, I hope to
see some significant improvement in the appearance of my serious Dark Circles.

NOTE:  A doctor, or Laser clinic, might be able to provide about the same treatments as I've
described.  The results, which CAN'T be guaranteed from what I've been told, may or
may not be quicker.   In any case, you will definitely have to pay A LOT more money for
your treatments.  The most important thing about your visiting a doctor, or Laser clinic,
is that they MAKE MONEY.  Treatment results come in "second" to their
"financial performance".  This doesn't seem like a very good deal to a serious Dark Circle
sufferer like me.  Argh!  For this reason, I avoid seeing doctors unless I absolutely have to.

Wow, sounds increadible (60% improvement).
I would be happy with less..
Would you consider uploading a before/after image of your eyes so we can see this improvement for ourselves, and maybe determine if we have the same seriousness as you have?
I understand it if you are uncomfortable about sharing images, but it would be nice to see indeed!
I am considering to purchase the items in your list..

On this site, we can't directly upload images.  Instead, images need to be
on another website server that we can << link >> to.  Well, I don't have
a website server to put images on.  Just give things a "try" and see the
results for yourself.

Dr. Frankenstein, I would just like to thank you for keeping us updated. These forum may not see much activity but there are quite a few lurkers (like me) that love to see the feedback you guys post.

I'm trying the "hollywood" eye magic right now, and if that doesn't work out I will certainly try these methods.

Again, thanks for keeping us updated.

also, how powerful is your green laser? is it the same as this one? http://www.oztion.com.au/-New-High-Power-Green-Laser-Pointer-532-nm-True-Rated-10mw-/auction/4283329.aspx
I am just concerned about eye safety, because 10Mw sounds alot.

I read that you can protect your eye from the regular 633nm red lasers by closing the eyelid.
But the green laser is more powerful "Visible laser pointers operating with 1-5 mW power are Class 3a and can be hazardous if viewed even for a very short time."
I suggest people to be careful when using these lasers in the eye area.

Yes.  The bright, green laser.  You should be O.K. as long as you don't shine the beam directly into your eye.
