i didn't know such blogs existed until today! i'm finding some comfort in knowing so many people are suffering from the same problems as i am. all this time i thought i was the only person that suffered from under eye bags/ dark circles at this age (i'm 24). my mom used to say i would get dark circles when i was tired even as i child, but seems like by my early twenties, they have become a permenant fixture on my face. i'm so self-consious about them and i want nothing more than to get rid of them! i joined this blog to share my experiences and hopefully pick up some tips/recommendations that will at least reduce the appearance of my bags...so, i want to list the products that i have tried (which none of them worked) and hopefully you wont make the mistake of wasting ur money... have a great day!
hylexin- def not worth the money. about 100 bucks. it didn't do anything to diminish dark circles/bags
teamine- about 70bucks. doesnt reduce the appearance of dark c/bags. but is a good moisturizer
vita k-tightens bags, but temporary. feels a bit uncomfortable, and doesn't do much for dark circles
i think i've tried majority of products that you can buy at ur local drugstore as well. such as garnier, aveeno, olay, etc. but nothing seems to have any effect. i had high hopes for hylexin and teamine since they were advertised for people with hereditary dark c/bags but those products were just expensive and no results. i've tried home remedies as well, the teabags, potato slices, cucumber, but these only have a temporary effect and i'm looking for something with more lasting results (thats not surgery). so if anyone else has tried other products and that seems to work, please let me know! i'm dying to look my age!!! lol |

Hi algid and Welcome!
You will notice, like I did, that there is not a whole lot of activity on this forum at the time, but let's hope it's because everyone is out there trying new stuff.
Good to hear your experiences. People seem to have tried a lot of the same treatments without any significant success. There must be something out there that can help us!
Good luck searching, and please post back your reviews! |

Hello Algid, i am the same age as you, and face the same problem. Im kinda loosing hope on them......
I tried hylexin, what a waste of money!! I really trusted hylexin and was happy that i would finally could get rid of them, a month later.....same. Right now, im not using any product, except for a concealer from mary kay it could probably work on girls and guys, its a cream that covers most of them.
