hi there

appreciate what everyone here is going through

i'm thinking it has something to do with housedust allergies, effecting the blood flow around my eyes

just ordered some new allergy bedding and am going to start having allergy shots.  the dr also put me on 2 kinds of nasal sprays, an antihistimine and a steroid (have they actually gotten worse in the week since ive been using the steroid??)  this is probably good diligence to deal with, but really i can live with the allergies if the eye thing would go away.  like has been said before on here, it really effects my confidence and makes me feel anxious when meeting new people.  had a drunk lady at a bar just go off about how it looked like i had 2 black eyes.

there is a bit of heredity, a great grandpa that you can see has them, but nothing like i have in anyone else.

has anyone actually had success from dealing with thee from the allergy angle?  its weird, because i think thin skin is a big part, but even the eye lids are kind of a darker color also

if anyone here has any insight into these things, it would be really helpful

hey, i was just wondering, have you had those circles all your life (or since childhood)? Or have they just appeared recently due to your allergies? I also have similar circles to yours,except mine are waaaay darker and more purply coloured... I have had them since childhood and my older sister does too so I know they're genetic. But I also have allergies to dustmites and my nose is usually congested, so this might contribute?

let us know how the different medications work out.
