After a round of Lumiere photo facials (red light therapy), I noticed an improvement in my dark circles.  The Red LED light therapy (similar to Beaurer soft laser / Nulase) is not really supposed to completely erase the dark circles.  I researched and learned that some have found great improvement with dark circles & puffiness with High Frequency (Derma Wand or OxyLight).  Also, Sonic Facial Massagers are supposed to offer some improvement.  The problem is that even if I purchase on eBay, I am still looking at spending about $100.  Having just spent $100 on photo facials, and just ordering my Hylexin alternative eye cream, I can't afford it right now.  It is on my list to try one of these out next.  If anyone has had any experience with these please let me know.  I don't want to waste my money on another product.  Also please see the below link for the facial devices that are supposed to help with under eye circles & puffiness.  (Please note that I wouldn't necessarily purchase from this store, as I have found that many of these items can be purchased for less on ebay or at other online stores.)

About me: I have horrible dark circles. They appear to be the leaking vein type since they are dark blue / purple in color (not pigment related). I have had them for years and they are only getting worse. It is probably genetic for me, but wasn't helped by the fact that I suffer from allergies, used to be terribly anemic (vegetarian), and frequently don't get enough sleep. It almost looks as though I got into a fight (black eye). It doesn't seem to make a difference how much sleep I get the dark circles are still there. I only have a little bit of puffiness under my left eye.

Thanks for the information! I have never heard about such a technique.

Unfortunately, $100 is a bit out of my price range for trying something. We need a dark circle experimentation fund!

I wonder why I hadn't heard more about this type of cosmetic procedure before...but if it works, it could very well be worth it...

I have heard of this. But i am not sure if I really want to spend that much money. Right now money is tight for me. Maybe I will check into it later.

I bought the Derma wand recently within a week and I have so say, I am seening some improvements. Normally my dark circles are dark purple but the purple-ish hue is lightening up. I need to continue the treatment but I'll repost in another week to tell you the progress.

One more thing, if you are a first time buyer of HSN, there's a discount code for about $13 dollars off. Plus, you can pay in 3 payments at $25 each month for 3 months. And within 30 days you don't like the Derma wand you can return the item and get your money back.
