I have a soft, lavender-scented eye pillow that I keep in the refrigerator. If I need to get the puffiness down fast, I lie down with the eye pillow over my eyes for about fifteen minutes. It works wonders--firms the skin right up, and the scent relaxes me, too.

Du-wop puts the things out called I-gels. You can put them in the fridge and use them or you can use them right out of the pack. They feel great and make your eyes look wonderful!

I've had a few days where I've needed one of those!  The lavender scent doesn't put you back to sleep?

I have to admit, there have been a few days when I was late to work because the lavender worked just a little too well... Smile

I'm usually doomed when it comes to lavender (knocks me out just about every time), so I had to ask.  Might be good to refresh my eyes before I take a cat nap! Wink

Lavender gives me a headache if it is pure but for some reason I can handle the smell of Vanilla and Lavender mixed just fine. That works well too.

I've also heard of sage being a good scent for eye masks. It's supposed to be purifying or something like that.

My friends who practice Wicca tell me that when they move into a new house, they "smudge" it with sage and cedar to purify it, and I definitely find both t hose scents, together and separately, relaxing but not sleep-inducing.

I know this is weird but I once had a small eye pillow made of rice that worked well.  It may have been the slight pressure that did it, I don't really know.

I used to have tea bags as my eye pillows...Not only they help to refresh my eyes but also to prevent dark circles.
