hi guys

I've noticed that my dark circles under eye have increased in the past 3 or 4 years... I'm 23 now and I've had dark circles maybe since I was  11 or 12 but they were really small and almost invisible...I think they actually got worse from the age of 19 or 20 and now they are really nasty... The dark circle covers 60% of my under eye area...
Well I had some health problems as a kid... I've had problems with my kidney but its all been treated, I've had regular check ups and its been confirmed my kidneys are functioning properly... I'm thats just wondering if that got to do something with my dark circles under eye?

I've used some inexpensive creams that are reach with vitamin K, but its all been waste of time.
I'm getting 8 hours of sleep a day, drinking plenty of water and having sort of a healty diet...
So guys feel free to leave any sugesstions Smile

cheers

hey dude

well i dont really eat too much salt... The thing is I spent too much time infront of a computer, cos im actually studying computers and its gonna be my career lol
that can be contributing to my dark circles too.. hummm

i have bought some cheap under eye creams but they never worked at least i havent payed a fortune for them
I've used a Caffeine Eye roll by Garnier but it does nothing, used for a month.

Have you tryed any home remedies?

Hello blaze!

The fact is that i have hollow eyes. I've been to a cosmetic surgery doctor last december and i removed a lot of fat from my upper eyelids. Then he injected some fat from my belly to the under eye area.I've noticed some difference but i expected more!Home remedies do nothing but you should really try Preparation H.It's a product you can easily find in a pharmacy. It is used in the treatment of hemorrhoids but many say it vanishes the under eye circles. The shark liver oil in Preparation H reduces water retention in the eye area just like it reduces hemorrhoidal tissues. So give it a try!It is also very cheap!

Let me know your results ok??bb

Hi Nio,

Maybe I should see cosmetic surgery doctor too? Is it expensive?
hmmm Preparation H, does it have any sidefects? I mean its not really designed for facel skin, it says "Cooling relief from sore skin associated with piles"
you know the under eye skin is very soft and sensetive

http://www.boots.com/en/Preparation-H-Clear-Gel-50g-tube_32113/?CAWELAID=334492168&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engines-_-Google%20Base-_---_-Preparation%20H%20Clear%20Gel%20%2050g%20tube

Look at the link, Is that the Preparation H you were talking about?
I mean i can give it a try as long as its safe, i dont wanna fuck up my skin Smile) lol

Hey mate!

Well i don't think you should go and see a doctor. I was just an idiot and i could have done other things to improve the problem instead of spending 2000euros. You should try simple things first AND IF the problem insists then you go and take some blood exams for allergies and thyroid. The problem might be there. The cosmetic surgery is your very last option. Preparation H won't have any sidefects but before you try it under your eyes i would say to TEST it on a small skin area (on your cheek for example). If redness or anything else appears stop it.Also DON'T apply creme near the eyelashes and on the upper eyelids.DON'T apply before you go to bed because it will certainly enter your eyes. ALWAYS apply a very small quantity for each eye and spread it softly with your fingers. You definetely won't fuck up your skin.Just follow the instructions i gave you and everything will be fine!

The product is NOT the one in the link you sent me. Here is the right one and it's called Preparation H Ointment:

http://www.boots.com/en/Preparation-H-Ointment-25g_983945/

Always remember that you must buy the one that has Shark liver oil in the ingredients ok??

Tell me if you try this ok?Have a nice evening boy!

Hey mate,

Thanks a lot, for showing me the right Preparation H Smile
I'm gonna get it and try it, after all its only £3.25 Very Happy lol

I will certainly let you know if its helpfull or not... Im just wondering how many times a day Im best to use it? I mean maybe 2 times a day would be fine?
And for how long do you think I shall use it for? Maybe for 1 month and then see how it goes and obvioulsy if there are any improvments I can carry on for another month

cheers mate Smile

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAWNN!...Goodmorning!(I've just woke up)Smile

Well..you can use it when you're working infront of the pc or you're watching tv or doing anything else in the house. You shouldn't overcome 1 application a day. One time is enough. At the beggining you can use it for one week and if you see any improvments then you can continue using it for a long time (but not every day). The good wih preparation h is the you can see almost immediatly the results-of course it doesn't happen to everyone-. One week is enough to see some difference. I'm leaving now!I have to go to the campus..

Let me know about everything!bb boy!

Hey boy!

C'mon it wasn't too late!!Razz So today you and preparation h will see each other for the first time!Very Happy ok you can use it for 10 days. You will leave it for 1-1.30 hour.Remeber that Prep H is greasy so it won't be completely absorbed by your skin. That's why I told you to put a very small amount of it. So good luck with it!

I have to study now...

Call me when u come back from boots ok?haha bye man!

Hey mate!what's up?Smile

So you tried it although it's very annoying smell!Sad I wash it off after an hour because i feel my eyes greasy but if you can stand it you can leave it as much time as you want. Now some additional information..Before you go to bed drink a big glass of water. Sleep with your head elevated to allow better circulation and prevent fluid from collecting around your eyes. Drink 8 glasses of water daily and quit smoking if haven't already done it ok MR BLAZE?? (do i really sound like my mum?...oh jesus!Smile)

Feel free to tell me anything else ok?bb boy!

hey mate Smile

Well i think i will leave it on for whole day Very Happy wash it off the next day in the morning.. yeah i usually drink some water before i go to bed, cos im spending time infront of the computer before going to bed Very Happy hmmm sleep with my head elevated, i cant garantee that lol.. but i'll try

I drink about 2litres of water throughout the day i think thats 8 glasses or even more.. Well i dont smoke only smoked once in my life and i hated it.. hahahah yeah you sounded a bit like a mum Razz

So how long have you been using Preparation H? Seeing any difference?

btw Im also taking a tablets called Butchers Broom..   http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=6438

its made of natural things, herbs etc.. and its cheap Very Happy

Dark circles may be caused by inflamed or enlarged veins beneath the skin.
Try taking butcher's broom.  Taken daily, this common herb (used to treat weak circulation, hemorrhoids and varicose veins) has been effective in reducing dark circles.
