I usually cruise the Aryuvedic sites because they have all sorts of wonderful things that work toward balance, from what I can tell.
One of their home remedies is to massage almond oil - sweet almond oil I would imagine - at bedtime. Even though this seems a bit risky when talking about the delicate skin in the eye area, if done carefully it might serve to nourish the skin.
At times when I need to "massage" an substance around the eyes, I use the top of a fingernail, not the end, because the top, that is on the nail bed, is pretty smooth compared to all the fingerprints and textures on the pad of the finger. |

I believe we have some of those things in the store that I work at, so I will ask my coworkers about it. I'm sure they'll know just what does the trick!

I've read to use the ring finger, as it is usually your weakest and won't pull at the delicate tissue so bad.

I buy jason vitamin E oil, its a blend of various oils and apply it under my eyes overnight, it really helps to plump that area up and makes the dark circles appear less harsh.

Technoflute is right...you don't want to use your pointer finger when applying product. The ring finger or lower works best to avoid tugging.

I agree with you. Ayurrvedic medices are harmless unlike the chemical ones. They tend to give a slow effect, but still they are worth in giving a try. Below is the link which gives some home based remedies for dark circles .(It is basically an ayurvedic site and since you are interested in it, i have just posted the link)
